Manufacturing Finance Manager

We have been retained by a Singapore based client into Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing to hire a Manager Finance to be based in Chennai (Oragodam). Qualified CPA OR AIA is preferred. Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) must.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will lead a team of qualified and trained accounting professionals to execute & control site finance and accounting activities, support management team with accurate & timely information and maintain good relationship with the Indian government.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead, train and manager a team of qualified and trained accounting professionals to executive and control site finance and accounting activities.

2. Maintain integrity of accounting records and transactions in accordance with International Accounting Principles, India local statutory requirements and plant and corporate policies.

3. Handle local tax, foreign exchange, statutory audit, business regulations with compliance of India laws & regulations and minimize the company's statutory exposure in India.

4. Support management team with accurate and timely financial and accounting information for decision making.

5. Analyze financial information to reflect operational performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Experience:

Total 10-16 years' experience with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a lead / Manager position in the finance domain with the Manufacturing Industry.

Should have experience or knowledge of setting up of a factory / manufacturing plant

Knowledge of Factory P&L, Costing, Budgeting etc

Hand on experience on SAP or similar computerized accounting software

Qualified CPA OR AIA is preferred.

Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
