Assistant General Manager - Quality

Roles and Responsibility:

Looking for highly professional and results-oriented Quality expert with a proven track record ensuring Quality control, Assurance and Compliance in metal industry. Create a zero defect mindset across team

Lead a team with diversified customer portfolios across the globe, who are leaders in industrial products.

Manage global customers and address their requirements.

Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system that resulted in

improvements in product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and reduce defects

and review regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

knowledge in regulations and safety compliance.

closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction

Hands on experience in sheet metal, machining components (Plastic injection molding knowledge is added advantage) and special process inspection (anodizing, plating, Painting, Powder coating, Welding, brazing etc) of Sheet metal and machined parts

Knowledge on automotive core tools, SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP

Oversee all product development and ensure first time right

QMS – EHS and OHSAS 14001 and 45001 would be added advantage

Desired Candidate:

15-20 years in Quality managing entire product life cycle

Experience in Aerospace, Industrial products

Knowledge in Plastic products will be an added advantage

Strong in fundamental Engineering knowledge

Strong in Quality Standard requirements like ISO /AS /IATF

Strong in PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Continual improvement, Six sigma, lean practices

Adopt latest trends in Metal fabrication practices.

Knowledge on various tooling for desired product features

Strong people management & team player skills

Good ability to form and nurture relationships with stakeholders
