We are looking to hire a highly motivator Director to join and lead the Project Management and Digital Strategy Team. Your priorities will be facilitating new tech initiatives to drive competitive advantage, managing existing Tech solutions, and making strategic recommendations to senior management to improve revenue and growth. This will involve collaboration with multiple areas such as: Tech, Product, External Partners, Business Operations, and Data teams. In addition to these functions, the ideal candidate will also manage our Digital customers funnel insights and recommendations.

Essential Functions:

Business Lead for Tech Projects, partnering with other IT and Product groups

Oversees bug/enhancement intake, triage, prioritization, creating dev-ready requirements/user stories, testing, IT sprint planning, manage release day activities and system access

Manage External Partner tech requests/needs

Facilitates post-release metrics review/postmortem

Coordinates/Leads efforts between other Tech/Product groups on upcoming projects and triaging issues

Communicates with business stakeholders, to include senior management, on progress

Oversees unit responsible for Digital Sales/Bundle funnels for all LOBs

Manages Digital funnel recommendations and ad hoc analysis

Requirements:

BA/BS or MS required in Business Administration, Computer Science, Insurance, Statistics, Analytics, Finance, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

Experience in managing/supervising direct reports

Experience in the Insurance field strongly preferred

Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.

Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information and follow processes that have been published.

Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers, and other employees of the organization.

Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations.

Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly.

Location: This position is a hybrid role, and starting January 1, 2024, it's required to be on-site 3 days per week at one of the following office locations: Chevy Chase, MD, Fredericksburg, VA, Lenexa, KS, Buffalo, NY, Springfield, VA, Virginia Beach, VA

Annual Salary$118,000.00 - $207,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
