Senior Corporate Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will excel in fast-paced environments, be self-driven, innovative, and possess strong cross-departmental communication skills. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead all aspects of revenue and hedge accounting processes while also providing support for other corporate accounting tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring GAAP compliance of financial statements.

Take the lead in managing all facets of revenue accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of monthly revenue reporting.

Oversee the maintenance of the gross-to-net and core breakage accounting models.

Oversee hedge accounting activities, including documentation, valuation, and effectiveness testing.

Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and business unit finance executives.

Drive continuous improvements in process and related controls to enhance efficiency and quality of financial statements.

Guide and support junior Corporate accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth through mentoring and development initiatives.

Handle special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management or other stakeholders.

Assist with audits and other compliance requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting roles, with a focus on revenue and/or Corporate accounting.

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in ERP accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Oracle experience preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proven track record of leading process improvements and implementing best practices.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
