Technical:
Associate s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field a plus
8+ years of industry experience as an electronics or maintenance technician in military, semiconductor process equipment, nuclear technology, or high-energy systems environment
Experience in the prototyping, build, test, and maintenance of complex electronics
Ability to troubleshoot systems and down to component level of PCBs
Hands-on experience with oscilloscope, multimeter, signal analyzers, etc.
Previous experience with power distribution, X-Ray, plasma, and vacuum chamber equipment is an advantage
Ability to solder and fabricate parts is helpful in this role
Personal:
Assist in the build and installation of electronics, components, and assemblies for research systems upgrades
Support the R&D team by troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating custom and off the shelf components
Read schematics, diagrams, bill of materials, and assembly instructions to guide diagnostics for equipment failures. Troubleshooting from component to systems level.
