Software Developer (TEX) - Huntsville

Annual Salary: $75,000-$95,000

In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks an entry level Software Developer to support our rapidly growing engineering work for the Missile Defense Agency’s Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the Ballistic Defense System (BMD).

The candidate must have a current active DoD Secret Security clearance.

The work is performed at our customer site in Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:

The Software Developer will support the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Architecture and Delivery (A&D) SPA TEX team as an individual contributor in an Agile environment supporting the development of the C++ version of the legacy TEX product, originally developed in Ada.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field with 2-5 years of experience

Experience with C++ and Python

Experience in developing code in a DevOps environment using Bitbucket or GitHub

Experience in an Agile, Windows, and UNIX OS environments

Demonstrated Communication skills.

Must hold a current active DoD Secret Security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Experience with OASIS model

Experience with PERL and XML

Experience working with requirements collaboration and development

Prior exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
