Job Description:

Hence, the purpose of this solicitation is for a vendor to provide 2 QA testing resource onsite to test the entire application for thorough quality assurance testing including all integration points & interfaces for civil exams paperless solutions of the application to validate and assure expected behavior from all its modules.

Because of the fact that, that major changes are planned to be developed and with each iteration of the testing activities, existing functionalities will be verified as well as new bugs will be created as identified during the testing cycle. These again mandates the testing cycle to be repeated for the whole application, mainly for exam portal and to a greater extend exam mailer application.

As mentioned above, the testing activities are done mainly on test environment like QA, UAT, Staging and Prod. But this needs to be repeated in multiple devices and OS depending on the project stage like functional desktop testing, mobile testing, security testing, user acceptance testing and full regression (end-to-end) testing.

If there are any critical bugs found during a new code deployment to any of the environments supported, multiple deployments and emergency testing needs to be done which results in unanticipated increase in workload and possible delays the regular planned QA activities as well.

Scope of Work :

The selected vendor will perform functional testing to:

• Ensure the software functions correctly and meets the specified requirements.

• Identify and fix bugs or defects in the exam application and paperless solution.

• Detect vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the software's security measures, enabling developers to implement appropriate safeguards to protect user data and maintain the integrity of the application.

• Identify bottlenecks, latency issues, or resource constraints that could degrade the application's performance.

• Assess the performance of the application under different conditions, different environment, different devices, and different browsers.

• Ensure that the application meets the needs and expectations of its target exam users.

• Verify compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices, reducing the risk of legal issues or penalties.
