Our Technical Project Managers lead teams of Engineers, including Electrical, Firmware, Software, System, and Mechanical Engineers to support multiple clients to design and develop cutting edge medical devices that change peoples' lives.

Our Technical Project Managers use a variety of tools to do their jobs, including NetSuite, Jira, Greenlight Guru, MS Office, Zoom and more.

What You Will Do?

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsible for project execution from scoping, planning, design, development, verification, and design transfer to manufacturing

Lead Product Development programs, integrating complex systems and diverse skill sets

Identify, engage, and lead the technical team to define, schedule and execute project milestones

Make recommendations, develop plans, and drive consensus to resolve issues as the liaison between the customer, technical directors, and engineers

Partner with sales team to understand, plan and initiate new projects

Interface with the customer to refine the schedule, work through obstacles and negotiate project changes

Manage budget forecasts, monitor burn rates, and track spending on programs; partner with finance to execute invoicing and project change notices as necessary

Communicate progress, milestones, issues, and risks to key stakeholders

Creatively develop plans to mitigate project/program risk which may impact schedule and budget

Identify opportunities and drive efforts to improve efficiency and capabilities.

Manage a team of engineers, conduct employee reviews, and work with Technical Directors to identify employee growth and training goals

Partner with other leaders to create an engaging workforce and empowering teams Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, software, computer science or related discipline; or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Project Management Additional Qualifications:

Prior experience in the Medical Device industry

Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820

Demonstrable knowledge of software, mechanical, and electrical design and development processes

Mastery of the tools used in technical project management: Scheduling, Gantt charts, Customer communication and management, Jira, Project, etc

Understanding of agile development tools and scrum-based development practices

Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and quick-paced environment

An attitude of doing whatever it takes to accomplish the project objectives

Demonstrated experience that displays an ability to learn and apply new skills
