Raw Materials Specialist

The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a worldwide innovation and sustainability leader in the development and production of systems and products for commercial and residential construction, as well as the marine, automotive, and renewable energy manufacturing industries. Together we are searching for a Raw Materials Specialist to join their team at their Lyndhurst, NJ location. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, and 1-day work from home. The compensation for this role is $73k-$92k based on experience.

Requirements-

Manage Safety Data Sheet (SDS) library for Corporation raw materials.

Maintain regulatory information about raw materials concerning the classifications, labeling, packaging, and transportation, as well as ecological, toxicological, and safety information in SAP ERP systems.

Assist in raw material code creation for new products and acquisitions.

Contact suppliers regarding updates in GHS classification and Regulatory compliance of raw materials. Qualifications-

A bachelor's degree in chemistry chemical engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in chemistry, product compliance, or chemical manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of SAP (ERP) Systems.

Transportation certification in 49 CFR, IMDG, and IATA preferred.
