Job Description:

Four Brothers is a newly reimagined restaurant located on the heart of the San Antonio Riverwalk in the Omni La Mansión Hotel. A combination of Mexican and Southwest influences with a mix of Texas Southern hospitality creates a comfortable and inviting surrounding that is not only authentic but approachable. These influences can be seen from the artwork down to the floor finishes. In addition to these regional characteristics, the space has been reconfigured to allow for more diverse social gatherings with different seating options for the dining patron or one who is enjoying a cocktail in the lounge. This variety creates a deeper connection to the Riverwalk and the hotel’s courtyard with its many amenities. Overall, the finish and furniture selections maintain a sense of sophistication and masculinity encompassing the new concept, Four Brothers, within its new home at Omni La Mansión.

Chef de Partie pays $23/hour

The position is to be able to perform all of the Supervisor duties and be in charge of the department in absence of Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

Master all the stations in the kitchen including AM and PM. Prepare closing paperwork and performs duties in absence of Sous Chef

Supervises all culinary stations

Control quality and consistency of all food served

Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service

Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basis

Assist in controlling food cost

Assists in creating and adjusting work schedule according to workloads and occupancy

Order and receive ingredients and culinary supplies

Maintains cleanliness of all food prep and production areas

Report any maintenance or security problems to the appropriate department promptly

Assists in conducting a month end inventory of all products

Qualifications:

Display basic knife skills

Minimum of 4 years of hotel and or resort experience in fast paced, culinary environment

Ability to multi-task

Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day

Ability to efficiently lead a team

Flexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Must have an unexpired Food Handlers’ certification
