AWS Architect

Role: AWS Architect

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Duration : Long Term

Good knowledge of cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and deployment models related to Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud service.

8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

7+ years design & implementation experience with large distributed applications.

5+ years of experience in core disciplines (E.g. compute, networking, storage, security, database architecture)

Working knowledge of cloud technology

Strong automation development skills. Needs to be proficient in one or more automation languages [i. e. Ansible, Cloud Formations, Chef, Puppet, Terraform

Deep understanding of cloud component architecture: Microservices, Containers, IaaS, Storage, Security, Knowledge of routing/switching technologies

• Experience in developing and implementing DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and monitoring/observability solution.

• Professional experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions.

• Contribute as AWS subject matter expert to identify and solve enterprise problems and translate application/org requirements into deliverable solutions.

• Create blueprints for hybrid cloud infrastructures centered around AWS (network, server, storage, security, and management software topologies), Run technical workshops, and advise stakeholders on architectural and strategic decisions.

• Ensure that a quality solution is delivered in a timely manner, within budget.

• Participate in architecture definition for Cloud Initiatives utilizing industry best practices and technology

• Provide hands-on, prototypes, and implementations incorporating cloud engineering best practices, Develop technical content like white paper etc.

• Need to provide Technical Solution for application teams.

• Hands-on experience in developing POCs on the Technical solutions proposed.

• Takes ownership to work with multiple stakeholders to build specific reference architecture, architecture standards and provide technical solutions.

• Experience in dealing with Senior Leadership Teams, Enterprise Architects, Technical SMEs and presenting the Technical approaches.
