IT Project Manager (Scrum/Waterfall/Kanban) - Germantown, MD

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for IT Project Manager (Scrum/Waterfall/Kanban) in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located at our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify solutions for complex business problems by using agile scrum, waterfall, or Kanban methodologies.

Develop and execute project plans and charters for multiple projects using Microsoft Project.

Coordinate projects for cross functional teams and assist project team with matrix organization.

Perform launch and rollout of new software, product, and services by using project management tools.

Facilitate and coordinate information for projects of various disciplines. Report project progress to higher management. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Requirements:

Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus 6 months' experience in project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing OR Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing.

Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Microsoft Project; JIRA; Kanban methodology; Network security project planning; Agile scrum; MS Suite; and Vendor management. Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
