Reporting to the Director of Research, Technology, and Development, the Manager-Information Technology (IT) will plan, coordinate, and oversee IT operations within HFSC. The IT Manager is also accountable for the security of the organization's information systems, including cybersecurity concerns. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of information technology and information systems activities, partnering with forensic and support section managers to determine, implement and continually enhance information needs for the organization.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Accountable for day-to-day supervision and direction of IT staff including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing meaningful performance feedback and development opportunities in support of a culture that promotes efficiency, customer service, and continuous quality improvement.

Work closely with other department managers to assess growth needs and communication.

Develop and implement Information Technology (IT) strategies and execute plans and activities in support of strategic business objectives.

Work seamlessly with the Director of Research, Technology, and Development to adapt, recommend, and ensure appropriate implementation and maintenance of software and hardware systems specific to individual forensic disciplines.

Assist in the development of the IT budget and ensure that the budget objectives are met, and the department operates in a cost-effective manner.

Create and implement appropriate tools to collect productivity data, analyzing the data to continually enhance turn-around-time and client satisfaction.

Oversee data management vision and implementation of workflows to allow appropriate digital access to information and evidence.

Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the establishment of organizational priorities for technology needs, as well as security projects and enhancements Experience and Skills

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required; master's, degree strongly preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.

Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification highly desirable.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Minimum seven years applicable experience in the information technology/information systems field.

Minimum of five years leadership experience. Leadership experience may include project or team leadership.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Excellent working knowledge of all areas of IT including network administration, IT security, system analyst & architecture, and user support.
