Ascent Resources is seeking a Paralegal experienced in litigation case management. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant General Counsel and be expected to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion in the administration of the assigned duties and responsibilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Case management including but not limited to:
Investigate new matters to determine case issues, including subject assets, owners and drafting applicable legal holds
Organize and maintain e-file of assigned matters, i.e. emails, pleadings; client documents/discovery, docketing
Partner and coordinate with assigned Outside Counsel, along with internal business groups and IT/Litigation Support identify, collect, preserve, and produce relevant data
Maintain master litigation reports for in-house meetings
Assist in company-wide response to various legal and corporate due diligence requests
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum Requirements:
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to coordinate and/or lead interdepartmental projects
Technical skills needed to serve as administrator for various software programs, including, but not limited to, Legal Tracker
Knowledge of civil procedure in litigation, including trial practice
Preferred:

Process Evaluation and Streamlining
Docket Management
Education & Work Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
Legal studies or Paralegal certification
5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate legal department
Skilled in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Sharepoint
