As a Control Systems Engineer, you will execute projects, perform basic/detailed engineering of control panels for Motor driven compressors and execute projects effectively through cross-functional collaboration & taking along all local/global take holders together. You will be responsible to drive engineering activities as per required project schedules & interact/communicate with customers as & when needed.
As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing the input data for requisition contract(s) (customer specifications, Baker Hughes offer, etc)
Participating in various interface meetings with internal contacts (various design offices, purchasing, project managers, production, etc.) and external contacts (customers, suppliers).
Designing the control cabinet part of projects. Analyze/align supplier bids. Check/comment supplier drawings (layout diagram, wiring diagram, loop diagram, heat dissipation, etc.),
Checking/commenting supplier-developed supervision views,
Logical acceptance of cabinets at the supplier's premises and monitoring of reserve points,
Participating in planning reviews. Participate in Hazop and SIL meetings on the customer's premises, if necessary
Defining of PLC architecture, according to specific contract requirements. Drafting of control cabinet specifications,
Proposing solutions to any problems that may arise. Study the logical part of the job. Study the wiring of equipment proposed by Thermodyn
Providing support to the technical assistance team to solve problems during on-site commissioning
Developing the various standard logics and adapt them to PLC function blocks (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mark Vie, Nexus, ...) with test protocol, archiving, issue of associated documentation and training if necessary.
Supporting TD test laboratory to simulate equipment (TD compressors, turbines, pumps, etc.) in order to check program behavior on site before implementation. Writing simulation protocols, archiving, issuing associated documentation and training contacts.
Providing suggestions for continuous improvement of studies. Develop the offer of remote control of equipment by deploying a proposal that complies with Cybersecurity requirements.
Reporting any Quality/HSE problem, whatever its impact (to his line manager and/or the nearest line manager).
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor technical Engineering degree in automation or Instrumentation and Control Engineer
Have atleast 5 years' experience in an engineering position in the industrial field.
Have experience in engineering, ideally in PLC development or regulation & control.
Have Technical skills in automation (Siemens, Allen Bradley and/or MarkVIe). Have Technical skills in Cybersecurity
