Principal Operations Analyst

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree plus two years of work experience in operations analysis, project management, strategic planning, program auditing or business management consulting OR a Bachelor's degree plus three years of work experience in operations analysis, project management, strategic planning, program auditing or business management consulting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience provided the minimum degree requirement is met.

Selection Criteria This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview.

The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.

Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following: * Experience analyzing large datasets using a statistical package (R, SAS, Python, etc.) * Previous experience working with people experiencing homelessness, migrants or refugees, or immigrant communities * Previous experience working with data systems such as the Homeless Management Information System * Experience visualizing data (preferably PowerBI, but also other data visualization software such Tableau, etc.) * Proficiency using Smartsheet, and Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for data visualization * Experience distilling and communicating findings for various audiences to guide decision making * Experience training, coaching, and guiding others in basics of data manipulation, interpretation, and use * Master's degree in Public Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
