Il Cervo, located next to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee's historic Deer District, is set to open in the Spring of 2023 on the top of The Trade, Milwaukee's premier luxury hotel. Il Cervo is currently looking for you, an experienced hospitality professional hoping to showcase their skills in a brand new 10,000-square foot, high-end Italian restaurant. Il Cervo's menu features hand-rolled pasta, homemade mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, and dry-aged steaks served Florentine-style, and will boast an Italian focused wine list with over 300 labels. Position: Prep Cook

Work Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Compensation: $18-$22/hour

About Position:

The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. This position is responsible for undertaking basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. The Prep cook prepares simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.

Job Requirements:

Experience working as a prep cook or in a similar capacity

Great communication skills

Good at working under pressure

Good team attitude

Ability to read and follow prep list

Proficient knife-handling skills

Available to work flexible shifts
