Facilities Mechanic II

This position will perform preventive and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is operational and safe.

The type of maintenance will include buildings, grounds, machinery and racking.

Assignments are based on the associate’s skill set.

The assigned shift hours are 11am until 7:30pm Mon to Fri with overtime expected during peak season RESPONSIBILITIES: * Intermediate ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment.

Needs to have a good understanding of the equipment and how it operates * Ability to understand equipment inspections as they relate to drivers, motors, belts * Daily duties may include equipment PM’s, project tasks, work orders and battery changes * Ability to work in temperature zones from zero (0) degrees to ambient * Utilize forklift equipment and be able to assist at heights up to 40 ft.

* Follow all company polices and procedures while adhering to the company safety guidelines * Provide direction to seasonal associates * Assist supervisor and fill in when supervisor is not available * High School diploma or equivalent along with 5+ years of experience within an industrial environment * Previous forklift/boom lift or the ability to become certified by completing company training on the equipment * Mechanical aptitude along with experience using basic hand and power tools * Ideal candidate has previous electrical experience in wiring specification along with equipment control devices * Must be able to read and understand blueprints * Must have ability to operate tools and heavy equipment to perform inspections and repairs within facility * Able to complete company training Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash and Hot Work permits Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
