Emergency Management Maintenance Technician

Maintains inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies.

Clean restrooms and other areas within the EOC and restock with supplies.

Sweep and mop floors.

Take out garbage and empty dehumidifiers.

Cut grass outside, trim hedges, and keep property neat and clean.

Keep sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and paper products.

Advise Director on facility issues that need repairs.

Perform duties above at EOC McRaven facility once weekly.

Performs building custodial duties and minor maintenance and repair.

Sets up classrooms and other meeting facilities and audio-visual equipment.

Perform other duties assigned by Emergency Management Director and/or his/her designee.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and two (2) years related work experience with one (1) year experience in handling hazardous material land decontamination of equipment.

Any combination of education and experience equaling the above.

Terms of Employment

This is a non-exempt position.

This is an At-Will employment position.
