American Heritage Credit Union, a $4.8+ billion credit union, has an excellent opportunity available for a Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist! This position will plan, implement, and monitor American Heritage Credit Union's and its subsidiaries' social media strategies in order to increase brand awareness and visibility to current and prospective members/clients. Develop and implement internal and external communications projects in support of department and organizational initiatives. Provide insight on communications, channels, and messaging to promote member and associate trust, loyalty, and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Monitor and oversee the credit union's design and strategy of social media channels by regularly updating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms. Coordinate interaction with and responsiveness to members through social media channels. Monitor social media channels during operating and non-operating work hours and elevate member concerns accordingly. Maintain and/or update credit union website and social media channels during off-hours as needed.

Coordinate and/execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns leveraging search engine optimization (SEO), social, inbound marketing, email, landing pages, lead-generation, automated matrices, and events to drive product/service growth.

Coordinate, manage execution, and create strategy of e-mail campaigns and schedule.

Facilitate posting and positioning of day-to-day content for social media and blog, ensuring graphics and tone of voice are on brand and consistent across channels.

Work with Senior Vice President of Marketing and VP of Analytics and Digital Marketing as well as internal and external/agency resources to develop digital and social media strategy, plan, and campaigns to achieve key performance indicator (KPI) goals for the year, including awareness/community building, engagement/education, and advocacy.

Coordinate development and distribution of press releases, media alerts, and other public relations materials. Maintain department PR files.

Collaborate with designated team members to plan and implement publicity and internal communication strategies.

Serve as an editor for the following: External communications including member communication and newsletters; Internal communications channels, including employee newsletters and intranet, as assigned.

Manage websites for American Heritage Credit Union and its subsidiaries.

Track various social and digital media KPIs and provide data and recommendations to Senior Vice President of Marketing and VP of Analytics and Digital Marketing on engagement and reach metrics. Responsible for maintaining Google Analytics suite of tracking platforms and related activity. Recommend additional tracking services as needed.

Develop strategy and organize search, paid media, social, mobile, and other digital ad tactics in conjunction with Senior Vice President of Marketing and VP of Analytics and Digital Marketing. Make recommendations to creative team to ensure content is relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).

Experience in the following required: Hands-on website management, social media, and blog management; Social monitoring programs, such as Hootsuite; Website CMS, web site production, maintenance and optimization; Creating site templates and managing content using a web content management system; Marketing automation platforms.

Credit union, financial services or fintech experience a plus.

Working knowledge of the latest design trends in digital media and understanding of content marketing strategies and execution.

Familiarity with Google Analytics and proven ability to measure user experience on web and through interactive vehicles.

Working knowledge of hand-coding HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Java script.

Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, In-Design, Flash, After Effects or similar design programs, as well as multimedia/video production experience.

Strong data analysis skills to define and measure social media engagement results as well as understanding of initiatives required to improve those results.

Strong project management skills.

This position may qualify for hybrid remote status under the credit union's current Policy and Program for Remote Work. Supervisor to determine requirements and eligibility.
