Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The role owns the complete merchandising process laid out for the Franchise partners, with responsibility of standardizing the merchandising policies in line with the adidas guidelines. Further, the role supports and guides the Franchise partners in determining an ideal Range plan and Financial plan in order to maximize the opportunities and provide efficiencies within the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of merchandising within the adidas Franchise stores.

Ensure alignment between product ranges and brand strategy for all Franchise partners.

Build, guide and implement assortment plan for Franchise partners, which is data-driven and relevant to local demand.

Lead the merch team to provide fact-based product input and feedback for internal/external stakeholders, for new season planning.

Deliver GTM process to partners in collaboration with merchandising team and all internal stakeholders.

Communicate and guide partners to place orders of ISCs and ABOs, to ensure newness and tap any product opportunities.

Provide merchandise guidance and implement Retail best practices to the Franchise partners merchandise team.

Track In season product performance and build product strategy with partners to maintain optimum inventory, maximize full price and overall sellout.

Contribute to the design and implementation of key merchandising reports that help evaluate business goals/KPIs.

Market visits as needed and advised by the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

University degree Marketing / Business/ Sales focus/ Economics.

4-5 years planning / merchandising experience – similar capacity.

1 – 3 years of managerial experience.

Confident about retail merchandising & product expertise and can be seen as an expert.

Clear understanding of the E2E retail merchandising stream in detail and can effectively upskill team members.

You have a strong analytic background and a good eye for product.

Structured, organized and process orientated.

Ability to navigate the ambiguity of a matrix organization.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and with multiple diverse regions.

Strong trading mindset, with an entrepreneurial flair to maximize business opportunities.

Intermediate to advanced MS office skills (Excel is a must).

Fluent in English and other languages (Russian) is an advantage.
