Reservations Consultant - Safari Hospitality

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Reservations Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in Luxury Boutique Hotels, Game Lodges, or Tour Operating backgrounds, and must be passionate about reservations and excited to see the availability calendar fill up.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering phones and responding to emails to assist customers in making, altering, or cancelling reservations.

Providing accurate and detailed information to guests regarding reservations, facilities, rates, and events.

Advising customers on ongoing promotions, available upgrades, and local tourist attractions.

Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.

Processing payments, sending confirmation details, and accurately recording customer information.

Assisting with the maintenance of online rates and distribution of rates to the trade.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, guests, trade partners, and other service providers.

Championing the Property Management System (PMS) to ensure optimal utilization and support for onsite staff.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Over 4 years of experience in Luxury Boutique Hotel, Game Lodge reservations, or Tour Operating backgrounds.

Passionate about reservations and dedicated to providing outstanding service.

Impeccable phone and email manners, strong communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently while supporting team members during busy times or absences.
