Our client is seeking an Azure Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design Azure environments that align with project needs, security policies, and best practices.

Configure and provision Azure resources such as virtual machines, networks, storage accounts, databases, and services to support various application workloads.

Implement automation and orchestration using Azure Resource Manager templates, PowerShell scripts, or other relevant tools to streamline deployment and management processes.

Monitor and optimize Azure environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, making necessary adjustments to resource allocation and configurations.

Implement security measures in Azure environments, including network security groups, access controls, encryption, and identity and access management solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure resource configurations, connectivity, and performance in a timely manner.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure.

Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices, and recommend their integration into our environment to enhance efficiency and capabilities.

Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Azure environments.

Provide support and guidance to team members on Azure configuration best practices and strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in configuring and managing Azure environments, including familiarity with Azure Resource Manager, Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles, along with hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.

Familiarity with security practices in Azure, including network security groups, Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, and data encryption.

Experience with Azure monitoring and management tools for performance optimization and cost management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred but not required).
