Job Summary

Salins Group, Inc. is an established and well-respected residential construction contractor, specializing in high end remodeling and new construction in the Charlotte area. We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team as we continue to grow and expand. The role of the Construction Project Manager is to oversee their assigned construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring haste, quality, satisfaction, and value for our clients.

General Accountabilities

Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.

Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.

Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.

Efficiently communicate with Architects, Clients, County Inspectors, Designers, Engineers, Sub-contractors and Vendors.

Manage a detailed schedule for each assigned project.

Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction workers and laborers.

Confer with managerial personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.

Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.

Order or requisition materials or supplies.

Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.

Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.

Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.

Ensure that all work adheres to proper building code.

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience: 5-7 years of construction supervision (Required)

Certification: OSHA training or certification (Preferred)

The ability to read, comprehend and explain blueprints to subcontractors.

Knowledge of building products and material specifications.Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Critical thinking Problem solving Time management

Management of personnel resources

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
