Job Title: Quality Inspector

Work Location: Karratha, WA.

Type: Full-time (12 months)

Roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

Role Description

This is a full-time position (12 months) for a Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control and assurance inspections, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications. The role includes analysing data, documenting findings, and reporting on quality metrics. The Quality Inspector will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement improvements. Ideally, you will be suitably qualified (Engineering Degree) from a recognized institution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

15+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within oil and gas or related industries and Engineering Degree essential.

One or more of the following:

CSWIP Welding Inspector or equivalent (WTIA, CWI, IWI).

NACE Coating certification or similar (BGAS-CSWIP, FROSIO).

Familiar with ISO 9001 quality standards and their application in project management.

Previous experience in both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) roles.

Proficient in executing quality plans within construction site environments.

Experience in Quality Management and Inspection.

Analytical Skills and attention to details.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications in quality management or related fields are required.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Familiarity with Industry Standards.

Experience in the energy industry or related sectors is a plus.

NDT Level 2 Qualifications.
