Job Title: Client Support Specialist

Location: Surge Staffing Headquarters

Position Type: Full-time - On-Site

Summary

The Client Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all branches with clients utilizing a VMS. They will also establish and maintain relationships with clients that are supported through an MSP program. This individual will be responsible for:

Training branches, Onsites/Workforce Managers on internal systems and external systems (e.g., VMS - Vendor Management System).

Collecting, entering, and updating all VMS accounts, time, expenses, or any other expenditures.

Working with VMS accounts to collect overdue payments and maintain standings.

Performing daily, weekly, and monthly audits on MSP accounts.

Primary Functions

Training all branches, Onsite/Workforce Managers on internal systems and duties, along with training all branches on external systems.

Attending weekly conference calls with vendors and MSP.

Researching missing/incorrect time in VMS software to dispute or resolve, enabling correct time entry.

Entering missing/incorrect time in VMS software to update accounts.

Contacting and working with MSPs to set up VMS accounts correctly. Issuing usernames and passwords for VMS accounts to branches.

Contacting, establishing, and sending out requests to offices to attend training calls with MSP.

Send weekly audits to the offices that have MSP accounts, missing items that have not been uploaded to the VMS tool.

Working directly with several customers, being the point of contact for any issues they may have. Setting up follow-up meetings with offices and local customers.

Traveling to offices or onsite locations to provide additional training.

Assisting with accounts receivable, sending invoices, and making collections calls.

Researching closed accounts, analyzing markups and profit, and making decisions on whether to regain the business.

Making phone calls to research closed accounts, setting up appointments, and offering services.

Providing offices with updated documents about their VMS account, establishing quick references on how to use them.

Sending out daily open orders to offices that need to be filled.

Backing up offices where you are working. Assisting with processing associates, answering phones, and emails to customers.

Qualifications

Experience as a District Manager, Branch Manager, or Senior Staffing Specialist.

3 years of experience working with internal systems.

Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.

Ability to make competent use of work-related equipment and materials.

Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures) or locate resources as needed.

Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices) as required.

Effective and tactful communication skills.
