Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Serpentini Chevrolet of Westlake. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing clients' automotive maintenance and repair needs, and maximizing service department profitability. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with automotive knowledge and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, establishing a positive rapport
Effectively communicate with customers to understand their automotive concerns and requirements
Accurately and thoroughly document customer vehicle information, service requests, and concerns
Consult with technicians to determine appropriate maintenance and repair services
Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
Coordinate and schedule service appointments to ensure efficient workflow
Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
Monitor the progress of repairs, communicate updates to customers, and address any questions or concerns
Ensure accurate billing and payment collection for services rendered
Maintain a clean and organized service department environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Automotive knowledge and familiarity with maintenance and repair processes
Proficiency in computer systems and software applications related to service operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
