Senior Accountant

About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Senior Accountant with background working as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Manage financial and cash and income statements and balance sheets

Record financial data and offer insights and recommendations to help business run

Process analysis and recognize costs and revenues

Oversee general ledger and approve transactions

Reconcile accounts and recognize any potential issues

Process internal controls and ensure compliance with standards and tax regulations

Coach accounting staff and offer guidance

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Record cash flow and organize payment schedules

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification (ideal)

Background working as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry

Good knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP

Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite and Excel

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills- both oral and written

Detail oriented, professional and organized
