The Control Tower Planning and Scheduling Leader is responsible the planning, scheduling and optimization of the brinks CIT network. The routes are optimized paths for Brink’s messengers to deliver cash and/or other valuables to customers around the country based on their specific service contracts. This role will report to the VP of CIT – it is based in Coppell, TX. The Control Tower Planning and Scheduling Leader will be responsible for driving continuous route optimization for Brink’s branches of operation around the country. The Control Tower Planning and Scheduling Leader will own end-to-end relationships with branches, customers, and internal leaders across the country. They will work with tech leadership to develop and continuously improve the route optimization process.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive continuous improvement in national optimization through deep end-to-end understanding of regions serviced

Lead the core team in identifying route optimization protocols and other issues to be addressed

Lead technical innovation to drive automation and modernization for all branches within the network

Define KPIs and dashboards to track success throughout the program

Leverage systems, relationships, and process design to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency

Maintain and provide quality customer service

Maintain positive Employee Relations and work environment, while creating a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement

Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis; maintain high ethical standards and protect the Brink’s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectations

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in transportation, supplychain and/or logistics planning and scheduling

Firm understanding of vehicle routing problems and typical solutions within a white glove delivery network

Previously managed a team of 10 or more

Lead product development changes in a supply chain environment

Developed supply chain analytics for a logistics network of 2000+ daily routes

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience

Able to lift at least 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

15+ years’ experience in supply chain software and routing

Previously managed a team of 20 or more

Has experience with routing algorithm development

Master’s Degree or equivalent level of experience

Professional Skills:

Strong team leader with aspirational thinking

Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
