The Department: The Pharmacy service operates over 5 sites within Northern Health and has a strong vision to deliver exceptional, evidenced-based care to our patients – with a clear focus on research, medication safety and clinical excellence.

We are currently undergoing a large period of expansion and specialisation, creating exciting opportunities for individuals keen to challenge themselves and progress their professional knowledge and skills.

The Role: An ongoing full-time opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Senior Pharmacist - Research & Data Analytics to join the team at Northern Health.

This role will cover 80 hours per fortnight, Monday-Friday 0800-1700 with monthly Accrued Day Off.

This role will become an integral part of our growing pharmacy workforce (which comprises of over 100 pharmacists and 30 technicians) has responsibility for the organisation, implementation and supervision of research activities within the Pharmacy Department Key responsibilities will includes: Identify research opportunities and drive the research agenda for the pharmacy department.

Guide and participate in research programs for pharmacy staff Drive and oversee pharmacy research activities Drive the strategic approach to utilise data and information to effectively and efficiently deliver pharmacy services Provide technical and analytical support to assist data-driven decision making Click here to find out more about Northern Health Pharmacy To be successful in this role you will have: A recognised degree in Pharmacy from an approved tertiary institution and hold full current AHPRA registration A minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy Experience in practice-based research Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) recognition at Registrar or Consultant level in relevant specialty practice area (eg.
