The Executive Protection Lead will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of a high-profile client by performing armed and/or unarmed executive protection assignments. This role will also be responsible for leading/overseeing a team of Executive Protection Agents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive SOPs for executive protection, including risk assessments, threat analysis, and contingency plans.

Ensure the safety and well-being of executives at all times, both in the office and while traveling

Liaise with external security agencies and law enforcement to gather intelligence and coordinate security measures.

Lead and oversee a team of executive protection agents, providing guidance and direction to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve security protocols.

Conduct regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures.

Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job

Represent the organization with professionalism and discretion when interacting with external stakeholders.

Handle any security incidents or emergencies involving executives in a calm and timely manner.

Provide recommendations and insights to senior leadership on security matters relating to executive protection.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding executive protection.

Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client during domestic and/or international assignments.

Lead counter surveillance operations.

Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.

Transport the client and/or family members to events and appointments, using evasive and/or defensive driving tactics, as needed.

Effectively manage the client and/or their family/representative requests against the need to ensure all safety and security precautions.

Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the principal's office, residence and/or events.

Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.

Complete suspicious activity reports, incident reports. shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.

Conduct reviews of the team's suspicious activity reports, incident reports. shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.

Ensure vehicle is always in clean and safe operating conditions.

Create protection schedules and team assignments.

Operate and maintain protective, operations, and communications equipment.

Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures.

Assist with and conduct site profile assessments of SAIC facilities in coordination with the Unclassified Security Operations Program.

Serve as an auxiliary investigator on Corporate Security related investigations.

All other duties, as assigned.

Required Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, and minimum six (6) years' experience in executive protection experience including advance planning, surveillance and counter surveillance operations and security driving for executive level clients.

Minimum 5 years leadership experience

Possess a Virginia Guard Card and/or HR218

Defensive driving tactics training/experience

International experience, preferred.

Executive Protection Training Certificate and Defensive Driver Certification

Experience with analytical problem solving and familiar with operations relating to security related investigations

Must possess superior writing and briefing skills with the ability to work independently in as fast-paced results driven environment
