QA Automation Specialist

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of the developed applications based on client requirements and standards by providing expertise in both Manual and Test

Automation. With knowledge in various automation tools.

Major job responsibilities include: improving and maintaining the existing automation

framework. Convert of manual test cases to automated scripts. Perform automation testing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Creates and executes automation scripts for regression suite.

Maintains existing automation scripts for regression suites.

Collates and monitors the defect through resolution and identify recurring issues and potential problem or risk.

Analyze business requirement in order to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing

Participates in estimation discussions with the product team to provide timeline.

Participates in requirements review and define test strategies and coverage.

Improves and maintain automation framework to keep automation scripts easily.

Analyzes test activity and be able to find opportunities to improve the quality of system and processes.

Coaches automation testers to ensure the quality of testing.

Creates and manages test automation artifacts to support test activities.

Ensures compliance to department standard processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferably related to Computer Science/Engineering, and Information Technology.

At least 3 years strong Experience in Automation and Performance testing. Experience in using code version controls. Knowledge and experience in the integration of Automation test to any Continuous Integration Tools is a plus.

Has undergone basic education / training on tools needed such as: At least 1 programming language (e.g. Java, .Net); Performance testing using Jmeter; Automated test tools (e.g. Selenium, Robot Framework); Best Practices: Quality Assurance; Information Security; ISO Standards on Software Development (ISMS and QMS)

ISTQB(Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE)) certification is a plus.
