a) Overall Responsibilities / General Function :

Responsible for implementing, monitoring, evaluating, conducting discipline programs, and other related activities in conformance with labor law standards.

b) Key Responsibilities:

Identifies trends/patterns, lessons learned, and best practices relating to conduct and discipline issues to further the mission’s objectives in policy development, preventive actions, and awareness-building initiatives

Undertakes reviews of alleged misconduct of personnel.

Receives and documents complaints, gathers information, and advises on whether further investigation is warranted

Represents as a member of the Committee on Discipline analyses relevant information and advises on actions to be taken based on impartial and independent examination of the facts.

Keeps current on developments and trends in the field of conduct and discipline and contributes to the development measures to increase awareness of AMCI personnel about the standards of conduct and to prevent instances of misconduct.

Conducts the development and implementation of awareness-raising programs, including the provision of training on conduct and discipline matters, develops mission-specific measures to detect personnel misconduct, and ensures compliance with AMCI policies and procedures.

Contributes to maintaining and monitoring a data management system for all categories of personnel misconduct and employee cases.

Prepares letters on disciplinary action cases.

Coordinates with Legal in handling legal issues on matters of discipline

Engages coordination of activities with the Legal Department, Security, Safety, and other Departments on matters of discipline under the Philippine labor standards.

Issues notices to employees with violations of the AMCI code of conduct/policies.

Performs other functions as may be required from time to time.

Complies with all Company safety, environment, risk management, and security policies, as well as administrative rules & regulations and departmental SOPs & guidelines, and reports to proper authorities any violations thereof.

Integrated Management System Function:

· Adhere to the Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health Policy.

· Support in the implementation of the Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health Management System and keep up to date with the IMS regulations.

· Promote and raise awareness to respective subordinates regarding the company’s Quality, Environment, Safety and Health

· To continually adhere to Quality, Environment, Safety and Health Policy
