As an OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE MANAGER, you will be responsible for handling the following:
1. Strategic Management and Direction
• Assists the Operations Manager or General Manager in communicating and aligning the strategic direction
and objectives of the Operations Department in his/her specific mall assignment.
2. Application of Skills and Capabilities
• Assists in the day-to-day management and administration of operations related functions and processes
his/her specific mall building assignment
• Mall Operations
• Safety, Security, and Sustainability
• Facility Management
• Assists in the daily mall inspections (opening, mid-shift, and closing) to ensure the compliance of
merchants, customers, and sub-units in the established mall operating systems and procedures.
• Assists in the implementation of cost savings initiatives and sustainability projects in his/her specific mall
building assignment to reduce Direct Operating Expenses (DOEs).
• Assists in the documentation and analysis of statistical data and reports to identify causes of operations[1]related problems and develops sound recommendations for improvement of policies and processes.
• Assists in the identification, documentation, and communication to Management of any Health & Safety
risk related to the Mall building that may affect employees, merchants, contractors, mall patrons & the
general public.
• Assists in the implementation of maintaining high-quality property standards through daily checks and
periodic preventive maintenance (i.e. cleanliness, AC level, lighting, assets & equipment) and security
control for mall premises incl. parking, service areas, toilets, and other common areas.
• Assists in the effective handling of all conflicts and dispute situations amongst merchants, customers, mall
visitors with help of security, in a smooth manner avoiding any disruption to mall operations.
• Prepares and submits the following Reports:
• Summary of Daily Operations Inspection and Monitoring
• Summary of Cost Savings initiatives and projects
• KRA setting and monitoring for Operations Staff
• Performs other management mandated functions.
Qualifications for this position include:
• Graduate of BS Business Administration, Engineering or any business/technical related course
• Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in Operations Management in retail and property
management industries
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Word, Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio
as well as other specialized software like SAP or Oracle
• Above Average level of oral and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation,
facilitation, and training at all levels of the organization
• With an average level of project management, planning, people management, and leadership
• With an average level of understanding of the mutual interconnection of financial and business of the
organization
