JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervising Human Resource programs of the organization, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, employee and labor relations, talent management, training and development and personnel administration; assuring implementation is done in a timely and cost efficient manner. Supports and provides valuable inputs in the planning of Human Resource planning activities of the department.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Talent Acquisition, Selection and Placement
Supervises talent acquisition processes, assuring it is followed according to the company’s policies and standards.
Oversees and supports the HR Assistant handling the talent acquisition role, ensuring qualifications of applicants fit based on the manpower requests.
Conducts screening, interviews for senior and supervisory positions as required.
Finalizes job offer contents including but not limited to salary and benefits with Department Heads / Managers.
Oversee and review updates regarding Manpower listings as often as required.
Ensure manpower requests are timely deployed through proper monitoring and implementation of talent acquisition action plans.
Assure talent acquisition budget is met against approved budget for the year.
Ensures on-boarding procedures and requirements are met and all employees are oriented sufficiently.
Conducts exit interview as required.
Regularly provides reports regarding talent acquisition data, provides analysis and recommendations as needed.
Provide inputs to further improve guidelines, procedures of the talent acquisition process.
● Compensation and Benefits Administration
Monitor and assure that compensation and benefits standards and policies are met and are accurately given to each employee at a timely manner.
Provide inputs and recommendations for department heads and managers regarding all concerns pertaining to salaries, wages and benefits.
Assures maintenance of salary history files of all employees (except for officers, management and executive levels) are kept safe and updated as necessary.
Oversees the administration of statutory benefits for various employee requests on claims, loans, and other benefits for SSS, Phil health and Pag-Ibig are done accordingly.
Regularly reviews guidelines on compensation and benefits administration and recommends any changes for improvements.
● Employee and Labor Relations
Assure that HR Assistants implement employee and labor relations standards and policies in a fair and just manner for all incidents that may arise.
Ensuring that HR is an avenue where employee’s grievances are heard and resolved.
Will possibly handle and lead some incidents under investigation.
Will also possibly represent the company during legal proceedings in the NLRC, MTC and RTC.
Ensures that any update on Labor Laws and other mandatory laws are communicated and implemented in the company accordingly.
Regularly measure employee satisfaction and morale, finding ways to continuously improve employee engagement.
Plan, implement and supervise employee engagement activities.
● Talent Management
Ensures performance evaluation review of employees are administered accordingly, timely and impartially.
Monitors performance standards, ensuring employees are achieving satisfactory performance, recommending course of action to improve low performance
Assist other departments regarding performance review of their subordinates to ensure the quality of the review.
● Training and Development
Coordinates with other department heads and managers in regards with their department’s training needs and requirements.
Supports the HR Assistant in searching for ideal external training facilities or programs for training requests that should also be within the company’s budget.
Coordinates with other departments in conducting “in-house” trainings ensuring trainings are done effectively in the company’s facilities.
Monitors and pursues post-training evaluation, ensuring trainings done were effectively taught and is utilized.
● Employee Administration
Ensure that the employee database is accurate and consistently updated.
Authorized to approve any circulars or memorandums related to HR as coordinated with the HR Manager.
Direct staff on filling of all personnel records, including records management of active/inactive 201 files, government files, applications among others.
● Perform other duties and responsibility as required.
· Education : College graduate with a degree in Business Administration or Psychology,
Majoring in any Human Resource related degree
· Experience : Two (2) or more years of experience
· Special Skills : Highly knowledgeable in major HR facets
Highly proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Applications
Excellent administrative skills
Organized, with excellent work ethics
Good to excellent oral and written communication skills
Very flexible, able to multi task, patient and understanding
