Cost Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant who will be responsible for managing and analyzing our manufacturing costs using SAP S4 HANA.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate product costing, optimizing expenses, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities: - Utilize SAP S4 HANA to perform product costing activities, including standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and cost center accounting.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for cost calculations and analysis.

- Develop and maintain cost estimation models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

- Conduct regular cost audits to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual manufacturing cost reports, providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to product costing and SAP functionality, continuously seeking opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Qualifications/Experience/Attributes: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related - Minimum of 2 years of pure manufacturing costing experience preferably in SAP S4 HANA - Arabic speaking is desirable but not a pre-condition - Good command of English - Willing to work long hours if necessary
