Overview

The Human Resources Unit (HR) is committed to work strategically with emphasis on human resources and provides a service based on consultation and communication with the INL community, ensuring that the HR activities fits into the INL s overall strategy.

The successful candidate will provide customer focused and comprehensive support to the overall HR operations being the link between HR and the Organisation, advising and supporting leaders on strategic issues and helping them implement high-performing and integrated HR policies and best practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who excels in managing the operational side of HR while also being deeply committed to employee growth and development best practices. This hybrid focus ensures that while our HRP attend to the immediate needs, they are also actively shaping and nurturing the long-term HR strategy.

Job Duties

Serve as a strategic partner to research groups and administrative units, offering customised HR support while also driving initiatives in people development and career progression;

Balance day-to-day HR responsibilities with long-term talent development strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational growth and individual career goals;

Operate in core activities as an HRP, but also as a specialist, developing and executing projects in line with HR strategy and organisational goals;

Be a key partner in design and implementing on various HR processes, such as, but not limited to, performance appraisal management, career advancement, and training opportunities;

Develop and implement HR projects with a strong focus on HR Analytics;

Participate in developing and executing strategies to boost employee engagement and well-being.

Mandatory Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience and Technical Skills

2 to 5 years’ experience as part of an HR team in a fast-paced and hands-on environment;

Strong experience in HR operations and knowledge of HR best practices;

Proven track record in designing and implementing employee development programmes;

Knowledge of performance management systems and career development tools;

Advance user of HRIS and proficiency in MS Office, especially in data analytics tools and software;

Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Other preferred skills

Experience in working in international and multicultural environments;

Coaching and mentoring experience at the management level.

Collaborative team player with collaborative attitude and problem-solving capabilities;

How the Selection Process works

A. Applications eligibility check

This stage will be carried out on the basis of the mandatory requirements, education, experience and technical skills defined for the job, as well as the validation of the mandatory documents. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will move forward to the next stage.

The Selection Committee will evaluate the eligible applications based on their CV and other submitted documents and the suitability for the position. The best ranked candidates will be shortlisted for the interview stage(s).

C. Interview(s)

The interview(s) may be done in different formats: video recording, online or onsite.

The question based interview will evaluate the match between the candidate’s profile and the requirements for the position, including the technical and personal skills. To better support this stage, the candidate may be requested to prepare a short presentation.

D. Nomination

The selected candidate will be nominated and formally offered the position, including the disclosure of the contractual conditions.
