We are currently recruiting for armed guards (casual position) for our St.John's Newfoundland's branch.

We offer:

Paid training in Halifax for selected candidates

Salary $19.38/hr

Full uniform (shirts, pants, bulletproof vest, coat etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform the pickup’s and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client

Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions

Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers

Follow established routes and schedules closely

Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times

Load and unload the armored vehicle

Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork

Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld

Requirements

Possess the restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (Possession and Acquisition licence-PAL)

Own a valid driver's license (Level 5) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points

Available for day and night shifts on call (casual position, each month must contain a minimum of four (4), twenty-four (24) hour blocks of availability per month)

Capable to lift loads up to 50 lbs

Available to work on call for evenings, nights or weekend shifts

Reliable, conscientious, responsible and committed to safe job performance

Customer service oriented

Highly organized and to working with minimal supervision

Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Skillful in managing stressful situations
