Mechanical Design Engineer

Major Duties:

• Create 3D/2D drawings in Inventor, create bill of material in Vault, release bill of material in SAP etc.

• Work in use of DIN,GB, ISO standard and sub-supplier catalogs

• Do basic engineering calculations according to desgin

• Archive and update the technical documentation. Check always the latest revisions from Product home

• Establish and maintain proper BOM structures

• Keep and maintain a product related ATC drawings list and feedback to Product Home periodically. Obtain approval from Product home related to own drawings

• DWG & BOM maintenance under project

• Release all Procurement Request for outsourced equipment / components

• Technical clarification, and description for all catalogue components (Motor and Gear reducer etc.)

• Communicate with product management of both Andritz China and Sweden for product design and optimization work

• Provide technical supports inside company

• Support to localize substitutive components

• Join site services of designed equipment, shoot troubles, improve design as per feedback from the customers

Competencies:

• Bachelor degree, Major in Mechanical Design

• Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking)

• At least 2 years mechanical design experience

• Equipment engineering experience in both welding / machining is preferable

• AutoCAD, Inventor or similar software

• MS software

• Strong will to learn
