Salary Range: $63.7300 - $105.1500 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Principal BI, Institutes Strategy ensure IPMS deliverables are met, and outcomes are achieved. The incumbent will provide executive-level management and strategic support to transcode data into business narratives, providing insights that support decision making throughout the identified Institutes. This role partners with senior leadership teams and multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation, challenge the status quo, facilitate solutions for performance improvement initiatives that advance Institutes’ strategic and operational priorities.
Responsibilities may include the following:
Leveraging advanced skills in data analytics to examine various types of institute data; financial, clinical quality, experience, and others to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop business intelligence platform to share analytical findings with senior leaders in ways that tell a clear, compelling story
Leverage IT and Strategic Analytics to enhance system toward data automation and improve ETL process
Advise senior leaders of trends and review their performance data with respective Institute leaders
Perform market research and economics analyses to help inform executive decision-making on topics related to growth initiatives
Participate in monthly Institute meetings in support of senior executives and their review of performance data with the respective Institute leaders
Analyze proposed initiatives to assess their impact, feasibility, strategic alignment, and ability to delivery targeted benefits
For identified initiatives, develop business cases and proforma that provide a comprehensive and accurate representation of the business justification, proposed solution, organizational impacts, required resources, risks, benefits, costs, and implementation duration
For approved Institute initiatives, work with implementation teams to monitor and report on realization of targeted benefits

Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree.
A minimum of six years of experience in a similar role or equivalent
Strong Analytics Skills
Healthcare experience/understanding of CQI and process improvement
Strong technical capabilities, including ability to work with various databases and synthesize and analyze complex data
Strategic thought leader with ability to utilize data to inform and drive decision making
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint
Preferred:
Master’s degree
Database reporting and dashboard development experience
