CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer is responsible for crafting quality precision metal parts according to their CAD designs using CAM software required by the machine.

Qualifications:

Completion of secondary school and/or a four-year apprenticeship/college diploma in a manufacturing field or a related discipline

Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in computers and Tebis software with the ability to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Power-mill, Lemoine, will be considered an asset

Familiar with Heidenhain CNC Controls 530 and 640 considered an asset

Knowledge of 2D and 3D work will be considered an asset.

Capable of recognizing and solving problems

Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Ability to adapt and welcome change (ex. new equipment, technology, etc.) in a positive manner.

Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane.
