Civil Analyst - Aviation

Kimley-Horn's Twin Cities office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 1+ years of experience to join their Aviation team.

As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.

Responsibilities

Support planning and design of airport projects including design and development of infrastructure such as roads, buildings, and underground utility systems.

Support aviation construction projects as the project representative for design

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client staff, contractors, and others encountered in the course of work.

Qualifications

1+ years of prior general Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Site Development or Aviation Engineering experience working within a professional design firm.

Bachelors from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering

"Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and/or GIS

Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Ability to work independently and as a team

Aviation experience is not required.
