Your role at Clorox:
The role-holder will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR operations and business partnership for SEA (with permanent establishments in Philippines and Malaysia, but business across the region).
In this role, you will:
Interface with International HR shared service teams and manage a wide range of projects from enterprise program roll out to process improvement in SEA. Advise on HR processes and provide guidance, thought leadership and strategic input on people solutions for SEA leadership team, with support from HR Director AMEA. Develop and lead people initiatives and ensure leadership teams and managers are on board in the journey. Leverage enterprise and regional resources and develop HR teammates creatively, crafting out career paths that are convincingly achievable including development projects and lateral movement where opportunities arise.
Leadership and Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team
Engage in strategic conversations regarding the business and people, and be the HR voice of SEA
Partner with LT to develop and deliver people plan
Support LT members, especially new members, in their integration with a particular focus on company values and ways of working
HR Operations
Ensure effective and efficient HR processes are in place that enable the business
Actively seeks to improve efficiency and drive out waste and non value-add work
Prepare HR reports that are required on international, regional and local levels
Manage and guide the local team through key HR processes such as year-end performance review, compensation review, job offer, new hire on-boarding, etc.
Lead, advise and support managers on ER-related issues, and partner with enterprise team in line with company practice
Manufacturing Plant
Ensure HR processes are in place to support the operations of the plant
Interface with plant managers on a regular basis to ensure policies are up to update and relevant
Partner with plant management on manpower planning
Lead, advise and support plant management on ER-related issues, and partner with enterprise team in line with company practice
Provide strategic input on plant’s long term development within the context of business growth and changes in legislation and labour market trends
Projects
Manage projects related to HRIS or HR processes
Interface with international HR shared service which includes meetings, teleconference and progress updates
Cascade project objectives and delegate responsibilities to team members as appropriate
Develop local people projects that aligns with business objectives including driving engagement initiatives, coordinating or delivering inclusive training, partnering with local LTs on change management projects
Team Management
Direct and supervise daily activities of team member, and keep accountabilities in check
Develop team members through regular meetings and intentional GPS discussions
Empower team members through appropriate delegation and ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their tasks
What we look for:
a. Years and Type of Experience:
Min 8 years of experience in HR operations, preferably with multinational companies
Experience in full spectrum HR operations/ HR generalist background is highly preferred
Experience in managing small teams is highly preferred
Experience in managing multiple markets is highly preferred
b. Education Level/Degree:
Bachelor’s degree
c. Technical Skills:
Experience with HRIS highly preferred but not a must
d. Managerial Skills and Abilities:
Strong conceptual thinking, resourceful, experience in people management
Strong sense of ownership, end to end thinking
e. Languages Required:
Fluency in written and verbal English
