Summer Nanny

Job Title: Summer Nanny (Position could be permanent depending on the candidate)

Location: Tribeca, New York (with travel to France and Long Island)

Salary: $35-40 per hour

Job Description:

We are a family based in the vibrant neighborhood of Tribeca, seeking an experienced Summer Nanny to care for our two energetic boys, aged 3 and 5. The position will commence in June and extend throughout the summer months, with travel to homes in France and Long Island.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and nurturing care for our two boys, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's development and creativity.

Prepare and serve basic meals for the children, focusing on nutritious and kid-friendly options.

Walk our beloved Pomeranian dog as needed, ensuring their exercise and well-being.

Collaborate with another nanny to coordinate schedules and activities, both in Tribeca and during travel.

Maintain a high level of energy and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the children.

Accompany the family on trips to France and Long Island, providing consistent care and support throughout.

Flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week, with two consecutive days off each week.

Live-in or live-out position available based on the candidate's preference and needs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a nanny, preferably with multiple children and in a summer camp or similar setting.

Basic cooking skills and the ability to prepare simple and nutritious meals for children.

Valid visa or green card holder to facilitate travel to France and Long Island.

Must be physically fit and able to keep up with the energy levels of young children.

Comfortable walking and caring for a small dog.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers.

Must be proactive, reactive, and able to anticipate the needs of the children and family.
