aftermarket solutions in the offshore industry. We specialize in delivering innovative software

applications and automation systems that optimize performance, extend the lifecycle, and

enhance the reliability of equipment and assets used in offshore operations such

as liquefied Co2 handling.

As we continue to expand our aftermarket offerings, we seek a skilled Software and

Automation Engineer to contribute to developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions

tailored to the aftermarket segment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

As a Software and Automation Engineer specializing in aftermarket solutions, you will be

responsible for designing and deploying software applications and automation systems that

address the unique needs and challenges of maintaining and servicing oil and gas

equipment and assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize,

design, and deliver aftermarket solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce

downtime, and optimize maintenance processes for our customers in the oil and gas

industry.

● Develop software applications and automation solutions for aftermarket services,

including predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, asset performance

management, and remote diagnostics

● Design and implement software interfaces, APIs, and integration mechanisms to

facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between aftermarket systems

and existing equipment, sensors, and control systems

● Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to

validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of aftermarket solutions in

real-world scenarios

● Work closely with field service technicians, reliability engineers, and data analysts to

collect, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data and operational insights

to inform the development of predictive maintenance algorithms and decision support

tools

● Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to ensure that aftermarket solutions adhere to

industry standards and best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance

● Travel to meet customers, suppliers, and manufacturers, domestically and internationally

What you’ll need to succeed

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field.

● Proven experience in software development, automation engineering, or control

systems engineering, with a focus on aftermarket solutions in the oil and gas industry.

● Strong understanding of software development methodologies, software architecture

principles, and object-oriented design concepts.

● Hands-on experience with industrial automation platforms, PLC programming,

SCADA systems, Computer and HMI development e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens,

WAGO IO cards.

● Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques, condition monitoring

technologies, and asset performance management systems.

● Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail, with a

track record of delivering high-quality aftermarket solutions on time and within

budget.

● Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the

organization.
