About the role
This is a 6-month freelance position to cover maternity leave. As a Senior Art Director you have a background in digital marketing and design, are comfortable collaborating directly with clients, have an acute attention to detail, and are passionate about beautiful, functional, innovative design that clearly communicates a message. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, is always learning and expanding their knowledge about design, and works fast and flexibly to get the job done. Role & Responsibilities
Produce high-quality visual designs, from concept to execution, for digital campaigns, microsites, landing pages, social media ads, presentations, video, animation, and more
Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team: including writers, animators, account and project managers
Confidently present ideas and designs to internal team and clients
Ability to receive feedback and collaborate with teammates to develop alternate creative solutions
Maintain consistent creative quality while applying client brand guidelines
Be an advocate for our culture and values
Requirements
You’re a technically skilled designer with high-level experience crafting digital ads, emails, landing pages, video, and more
Adept in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma experience is a big plus) and experience collaborating in Google Slides, Google Docs, and Slack
You’ll need to have strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with clients and colleagues around the world (you need to have a level of English equal to or higher than B2)
You know how to speak about your creative work to colleagues and clients alike, and ideally have experience presentating to clients
You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualizing campaigns, to finalizing layouts, and even doing production of creative assets
Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI, and responsive design
You have a good understanding of accessiblity standards for design
With an understanding of fundamentals such as typography, layout, and storytelling, you can get teams to improve the work on both an aesthetic and functional level
