Full-Time Housekeeper - Upper East Side

Overview

A family-oriented fully-staffed home on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented housekeeper. The schedule will be a guaranteed 40 hours from Friday through Tuesday (Fridays from 8am to 4pm and Saturday through Tuesday from 12pm to 8pm). The housekeeper will not be expected to do any travel. The family of 6 (two adults, two teenagers, two young children, and two dogs) spend Spring and Fall weekends at another residence and travels much of the Summer, so the housekeepers on duty in Manhattan will maintain and complete deep cleaning projects in their absence.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and deep cleaning on a housekeeping team of a newly-renovated 30,000 sq. ft. residence

Laundry and ironing

Turndown Service

Contributing to the team effort toward a "walk-in ready" high-end home

Qualifications

An eye for detail

Strong work ethic

Professional discretion

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a similar role

An excellent understanding of the English language both verbal and written
