Location: Pataskala, OH

Salary: $20-22/hr

Job Summary:

The machine saw operator will be responsible for setting up and the operation of a Peddinghaus CNC Drill Saw line.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate the Peddinghaus saw and drill machinery according to blueprints or other instruction.

Prepare materials for cutting, including the measuring, marking and positioning of materials according to drawings.

Oversight of quality controls by monitoring the machinery and adjusting as necessary to ensure the accuracy of the finished product.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacement of blades, as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of production, including quantities produced, materials used from stock and properly tagging finished products with job and sequence numbers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Structural steel fabrication environment, including experience in operation of saws and related equipment.

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements.

Physical ability to lift and move

Attention to details and ability to produce accurate cuts according to drawings.

Technical training or certification in machine operation (if applicable).

Specific Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications for any relevant machine operation.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in meeting production deadlines.
