Awash Bank Job Vacancy Announcement: Position 1: Telephone Technician Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Electronics Technician or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in telephone technician preferably in the banking sector Place of work: Addis Ababa V.No HO/00472/24 Position 2: Principal – Server And Storage Administrator Qualification & Experience: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Plus, a minimum of eight (8) years in Server Administration and related areas is mandatory.Certification of open source operating system like Unix, AIX, Linux and Training on SAN management is an added advantage.

The jobholder is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures Servers and Storage of the Bank.

Serves as a technical expert in the area of storage and server administration for complex operating systems.

Monitoring and administration of Power System, storage and physical and virtual server(LPARs) used by the bank.

Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and storage.

Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications.

Identifies methods, solution s, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the Banks.

No HO/00467/24 Position 3: Principal – Network Administrator Qualification & Experience: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology Plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Network Infrastructure Service.

The job holder is primarily responsible for monitoring and administering Data Center network devices such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls, network management devices and network access controls devices.

He / She also perform daily routine network issues and assists end users for any network related connectivity problems.

He/She also participates in network configuration tasks that is assigned by his / her supervisor.

Place of work: Addis Ababa V.No HO/00469/24 Position 4: Security Guard Qualification & Experience: 8th grade Complete, has been trained as a soldier and has at least two years of service.

Place of work: Addis Ababa Position 5: Branch Manager – Class II Branch Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management & Business Administration plus a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the banking sector of which three (3) years in a supervisory position The job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office.

S/he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations and code of practices of the bank are adhered to by subordinates.

The jobholder leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence.

S/he prepares and submits annual budget, operational plan and activity and progress reports Place of work: Branches under Wolaita Sodo Region, V.

No HO/00455/23 Position 6: Branch Manager – Class IV Branch Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance and Economics plus minimum of eight (8) years of relevant banking experience of which three (3) years in a supervisory position.

The job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office.

S/he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations and code of practices of the bank are adhered to by subordinates.

The jobholder leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence.

S/he prepares and submits annual budget, operational plan and activity and progress reports Place of work: South Addis Ababa Outline Branches V.No HO/00470/24 Branches under West Region V.No HO/00471/24 Position 7: Branch Manager – Class III Branch Qualification & Experience : BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or related discipline plus minimum of nine (9) years of relevant banking experience of which three (3) years in a supervisory position The job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office.

S/he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations and code of practices of the bank are adhered to by subordinates.

The jobholder leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence.

S/he prepares and submits annual budget, operational plan and activity and progress reports.
