Baptist Health is looking for a Manager, Pharmacy Accounts Payable to join their Central Pharmacy team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.

The Manager, Pharmacy Accounts Payable is responsible for the overall payables process ensuring invoices and payment disbursements are handled accurately and efficiently. This role will manage, direct, and coordinate the activities and personnel of the accounts payable team, and will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of purchasing strategies and work processes to ensure both compliance and efficiency.

Essential Duties:

Manages the processing of all Baptist Health Central Pharmacy invoices into the accounts payable system with accurate coding and subsequent payment to vendors in accordance with established procedures, best practices, and financial policies.

Ensures efficient, accurate, and timely processing of POs, invoices, and payments.

Ensures vendor statements have been received, reconciled, and compared to open receipts according to established frequency/priority.

Oversees the processing of routine payment runs to ensure accounts payable discounts and payment rebates are maximized and lost discounts are fully researched with causes identified and addressed.

Investigates and resolves issues associated with the processing of purchase order vouchers, invoices, and credit memos.

Manages the reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics across all areas of the accounts payable department.

Assists in the collection of documentation and responses in support of internal and external audit inquiries, government claims and grants, or business partner needs.

Manages team compliance with documentation, proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in accordance with record retention policies.

Manages and directs the accounts payable team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent college level courses in accounting

2+ years experience supervising or managing and leading a large accounts payable team in a high-volume, electronic processing environment
